We are selling 1000000 pixels on the large image (1000 pixels wide, 1000 pixels high) which will always be located on the home page of this website. The pixels are priced at $1 each.

The space you buy will be filled with your twitter avatar image and linked to your twitter profile URL, with the "mouse over" title/alt text displaying your short message for added impact.

To keep things simple, your avatar image must be square and the dimensions must be a multiple of 10 pixels, eg...

Getting Your Image Online

In the event the location for your chosen block(s) is/are not available, we will reserve the nearest available block(s) for you and otherwise proceed as normal.

Once your payment has reached our account, we are ready to include your image.

Preferably you will supply us with your avatar image (must be correct dimensions, GIF or JPEG or PNG file format only please), or, if you prefer, we can take the image from your twitter profile and, if necessary, scale if as best we can to fit your space purchased.

If you choose to send us your image, please email it (as an attachment) to the following email address and remember to indicate your twitter username:

For the purposes of these "Pixels For Sale Terms and Conditions", the home page image is defined as the 1000 by 1000 pixel static image that features on the home page (URL http://www.milliondollartwitpage.com/). Also for the purposes of these "Pixels For Sale Terms and Conditions", for "we" read "Andrew Henderson and Aimee Davison".

• The home page image will always be located on the home page. It may also appear (in complete or partial form) elsewhere in this website, possibly re-sized and/or re-coloured and/or re=textured.
• The minimum purchase is for 100 pixels.
• Funds must be fully received and cleared before your image is uploaded to "go live".
• All correspondence will be by email, and the only language we will communicate in is English.
• We will always operate with a "first come first served" policy as best we can.
• When you "buy" image space from us, you will not "own" any part of this website. Rather, you will be granted the right to submit an image and a twitter username/link which will then be published on the home page image in the respective space you have paid for.
• You will not be permitted to change your image once you have submitted it, so please be sure you provide the image you want on the home page image, which will be there for at least 7 years. Only if you have an exceptionally strong reason (eg. sound legal reasons) may any changes be made to your image or link.
• If you change your twitter username we can make changes in this website accordingly, and we will charge $50 per twitter username change.
• If your image and twitter username/link are accepted and published on the home page, you cannot get a refund.
• After your payment has been received and cleared, we will allow up to 2 weeks for you to supply us with your image if that is your preference. If we have still not received it by then we will use whatever your current profile image is at that time and scale it to fit as best we can.
• This website and the home page image will be online until at least 7 years from the date the home page image is fully sold, or until December 31st, 2019, whichever occurs first. We hope it will be online for even longer (much longer is our intention).
• We will not accept any inappropriate/obscene/offensive/pornographic images or twitter usernames or links, and we will decide what is appropriate for our website. If you submit an image or a twitter username/link that are/is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide alternative(s), and if you do not provide acceptable alternative(s) your money will be refunded and you will lose your reserved pixels.
• If your application is accepted and you later change the content of the linked twitter stream to show inappropriate/obscene/offensive/pornographic material then your twitter link will be removed until you provide a new one that we find acceptable, and you will not get a refund of any kind for the link downtime.
• If for whatever reason in the future you want your image and link removed from the home page image (and the rest of this website), you can do that, but you will not get a refund and the space will become publicly available again.
• The image you provide must be the exact dimensions you have paid for (eg. 1 block = 100 pixels = 10 by 10 pixels).
• The image you provide must be in GIF or JPEG or PNG format, be of reasonable file size, and without transparency please. Also your image must not be animated.
• Your image will be linked to your twitter profile (ie. to a URL in http://www.twitter.com), it can not be linked to anywhere else.
• The home page image may appear (in complete or partial form) offline and/or online on promotional material, which we may give away or sell.
• You must have the authority to provide the image and twitter username/link you submit and the ownership of rights thereof. We are not liable for any 3rd party copyright claims or copyright or trademark infringement lawsuits.
• There might be occasional downtime for website maintenence, but we'll try and keep these to a minimum.
• We will not be held liable for any downtime of this website no matter what the reason. We will, however, always try to choose a reliable and reputable website host, and we will do our best to speedily resolve any issues as they arise.
• Once you have ordered and your payment has cleared (in our PayPal or bank account), we will aim to get your image and link online within a day or two after receiving them.
• Although it has been tested extensively and we are fully confident in its integrity, this website is not guaranteed to be glitch-free. If any glitches become known to us, we will of course try to fix them ASAP.
• You may not re-sell or sublet your pixels.
